The foundation of the future, which is unforeseen, is built
on anticipation and assumption. It might appear foggy
and dark to those who doubt their ability, but those who
believe, it could be predicted, have the power to dispel
this darkness and declare themselves as the
torchbearer. Such unparalleled courage is borne by
people with positive perspectives, an element that
solidifies your behavior to harness the most, even in
times of adversity.
Positive psychology has emerged as a branch of
Psychology that could create wonders for Mankind,
irrespective of age, gender, class, or creed. It provides
humans with a structured framework to segregate and
integrate a group of people to achieve success or
envisioned goals based on observations, experiments,
and research.
The acronym SMART (Specific, Meaningful, Achievable,
Realistic, Tackable) by Lowlar helps to set up effective
goals, and achieving that can only be sufficed if long-
term planning has been included in this pursuit. In my
opinion, Long-term planning infuses a strong vision that
catapults the right approach toward any unseen
adversity encountered. It shields us from setbacks and
makes us resilient and adaptable. Therefore, embarking
on a journey with long-term planning in sync with
positive thinking could help to evade criticism,
disappointments, potential pitfalls, and perils.
Optimism is a phenomenon of behavioral traits that
exhibit hope and beliefs. In addition, optimism with long-
term planning pacifies us when things go haywire. Also,
they keep us composed and tranquil. No matter how
powerful this whirlwind is, positivity steers the sail in the
right direction.
Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads of accelerating
change, technological leaps, and ascending growth that
have amplified our stress and anxiety. Here, long-term
planning for the future is a blessing in disguise. Our
mindset, logic, grit, and behavior clubbed with passion
and diligence, build a manifest of long-term plans to
abide by during times of crisis. Also, anticipating the
goal or reward inspires, motivates, and guides us to step
out of our safe place to take risks while keeping analysis
under close watch and flexibility to adapt.
Sometimes, we may have a mountain of doubts about
the goals and planning, and a cloud of pessimism may
immerse us in utter dejection. During this unprecedented
time, a spark can light the fire, so remember to rekindle
the flame of positivity. Substantially, the future is
unknown, distant, and unpredictable, and an unprepared
sailor sinks the ship. His sea-faring skill, donned with
optimism and concrete planning, can save him.
In this fast-paced world, threats are bound to happen as
we progress. The positive quest for life will be easy if we
align goals with efficient planning to reach the pinnacle
of success.
